ISO 14064-1 (Greenhouse gases -- Part 1: Specification with guidance at the organization level for quantification and reporting of greenhouse gas emissions and removals) is the latest standard to reach CD stage in the ISO revisions process.
During the CD stage, the draft is circulated to the members of the committee for comment and voting. This process continues until agreement is reached on the technical content of the draft.
This stage of the process is optional and precedes the publication of the Draft International Standard (DIS) which currently has no expected publication date. If timescales follow those of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 however, it is likely to be at least 12 months until the DIS is published.
